Hazel is out of my "Trixie" DC. Hundeleben Xcavatrix SL ME and Paula Carter and Kimberly Ann Vidrine's "Primo" MBIS MBISS DC. Solo's Premiere SL. Hazel is pointed in the field and will focus more on Earthdog and Field Trials once her showing slows down. She is shown in breed selectively but mainly shows with her handler/Junior Amber Leonard. Amber is the youngest handler to have ever shown a dog to Best of Variety at a Dachshund Club of America national specialty.

Hazel is a new Canadian Champion and won the Federation of Dachshund Clubs of Canada National Specialty Best of Breed (or Best of Variety) in October 2011.
